About Valerie Wahna
Valerie Wahna is an interdisciplinary artist whose works incorporate multiple mediums from sculpture, digital, drawing, painting and most recently public art. Originally from Ohio, she graduated from Kent State University with a BFA in printmaking and taught at Kent State while pursuing her MFA . She spent her corporate career working in store design at large US-based retailers creating concept stores and developing creative teams. Valerie has had several solo exhibits and group shows regionally. She currently lives, teaches at Kendall Creative Arts and Design Collage and sits on the DGRI board Alliance 5 team who’s focus is on public art and events in Grand Rapids, Michigan creates art in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
